52-week High The Smart 52-week High alert identifies stocks that are breaking to new 52-week highs. Other requirements include that is previous 52-week high must be at least two weeks old. Scoring:The scoring of this alert takes into account general market conditions, automatically increasing the alert scor with higher NYSE TICK values and lower NYSE TRIN values. In addition, the alert score is increased when the previous 52-week high price was repeatedly tested in prior weeks and months before finally breaking to a new high today.

Breaking Above 40-day Moving Average This alert notifies the user whenever a stock breaks above its 40-day simple moving average for the first time in the past 20+ trading days. Traditional technical analysis interprets this as a bullish sign that the intermediate trend may have reversed and the stock is now heading higher.
Breaking Below 40-day Moving Average This alert notifies the user whenever a stock breaks below its 40-day simple moving average for the first time in the past 20+ trading days. Traditional technical analysis interprets this as a bearish sign that the intermediate trend may have reversed and the stock is now heading lower.
Breaking Above 200-day Moving Average This alert notifies the user whenever a stock breaks above its 200-day simple moving average for the first time in the past 20+ trading days. This is often interpreted as a bullish sign that the long-term trend in the stock has reversed and is now heading higher.
Breaking Below 200-day Moving Average With this alert, the trader will be notified whenever a stock breaks below its 200-day simple moving average for the first time in the past 20+ trading days. This usually indicates a bearish sign that the long-term trend in the stock may have reversed and is now heading lower.
High TICK Alert Whenever the NYSE TICK indicator rises above +800, an alert will be generated.
Low TICK Alert Whenever the NYSE TICK indicator drops below -800, an alert will be generated.
High TRIN Alert This alert will notify the trader whenever the NYSE TRIN indicator reaches a value of 1.5 indicating a sharp downtrend in the market
Low TRIN Alert The trader will be notified with an alert when the NYSE TRIN indicator drops below a value of 0.35

Description
15-minute Reversal Buy

This strategy identifies buying opportunities in stocks that are in clear up-trends on the 15-minute chart.  In addition, the stock must be experiencing a minor pullback within the context of this uptrend, allowing the purchase of the stock at a discount to its recent prices. The final trigger for this alert is when the stock price breaks above its prior 15-minute high, signaling the pullback is complete and the uptrend is being reasserted.

15-minute Reversal Sell This strategy identifies shorting opportunities in stocks that are in clear down trends on the 15-minute chart.  In addition, the stock must be experiencing a minor rally within the context of this downtrend.  The final trigger for this alert is when the stock price breaks below its prior 15-minute low, signaling the small rally is complete and the downtrend is being reasserted.
Daily Swing Buy The Daily Swing Buy strategy identifies buying opportunities in stocks that are in clear up-trends on the daily chart.  In addition, the stock must be experiencing a minor pullback within the context of this uptrend.  The final trigger for this alert is when the stock price breaks above its prior days high, signaling the pullback is complete and the uptrend is being reasserted.

1st Stage Downtrend Sell This strategy identifies shorting opportunities in stocks that, after a long, steady and sustained uptrend on the daily chart, appear to be reversing into a down trending mode. After recent price stabilization, these stocks have moved above the past months lows and have just experienced a minor pullback followed by a current break higher.  1st Stage Downtrend Sell philosophy would call for shorting at these levels and placing a stop above the prior days high.
1st Stage Uptrend Buy This strategy identifies buying opportunities in stocks that, after a long, steady and sustained downtrend on the daily chart, appear to be changing into an up-trending mode. After recent price stabilization, these stocks have moved below the past months highs and have just experienced a small rally followed by a current break lower.  1st Stage Uptrend Buy philosophy would call for buying at these levels and placing a stop below the prior days low.

Description
Exhaustion Rally An Exhaustion Rally alert occurs when a stock experiences a sudden flurry of trading volume over a one minute period as compared to the prior 5 one-minute periods.  During this one-minute flurry of activity, the stock also has experienced a sharp rally up to current levels.  These sudden trade flurries often accompany a change of direction in the price of a stock, as market makers and specialists step in to shovel out shares of stock to overly excited traders at these higher levels.  This alert would suggest monitoring for a possible scalping short opportunity once this blow-off rally ends.
2-day High:  Alerts you to stocks that have reached their highest price over the current and prior trading days.
2-day Low:  Alerts you to stocks that have reached their lowest price over the current and prior trading days.
Panic Sell-off A Panic Sell-off alert occurs when a stock experiences a sudden flurry of trading volume during a one-minute period as compared to the prior 5 one-minute periods.  During this one-minute flurry of activity, the stock also has a sharp decline down to current levels.  These sudden trade flurries often accompany a change of direction in the price of a stock, as market makers and specialists step in to pick up shares of stock from scared traders at these cheaper levels.  This alert would suggest monitoring for a possible scalping buy opportunity once this active sell off reverses.

5-minute Breakout Buy This day-trading strategy identifies stocks that have completed an extended consolidation on the 5-minute chart, and are just breaking out above its intra-day consolidation range.
15-minute Breakout Buy This short term trading strategy identifies stocks that have completed an extended consolidation on the 15-minute chart, and are just breaking out above its consolidation range.
2-minute Breakdown Short This very short term scalping strategy identifies stocks that have completed an extended consolidation on the 2-minute chart, and are just breaking down below its intra-day consolidation range.

Approaching 52-Week High Recognizing the interest in stocks reaching new 52-week highs, this alert notifies the user of stocks approaching with 1/4 point of its 52-week high.  This enables the trader to monitor the stock and evaluate its chart pattern to determine whether it may be poised for a rapid price rise upon setting a new 52-week high.
Approaching 52-Week Low Recognizing the interest in stocks reaching new 52-week lows, this alert notifies the user of stocks approaching within 1/4 point of its 52-week low.  This enables the trader to monitor the stock and evaluate its chart pattern to determine whether it may be poised for a rapid price fall upon setting a new 52-week low.
New Days High The New Days High alert seeks out stocks the instant they trade at a new high for the day. Other requirements for the alert include that its previous high of the day must be at least 10 minutes old and the range of the stock (high minus low) for the day must be a minimum of 25 cents. Scoring: The scoring of this alert takes into account general market conditions, automatically increasing the alert score with higher NYSE TICK values and lower NYSE TRIN values. The alert score is also increased when the previous price high for the day was repeatedly tested earlier in the day before finally breaking to new highs at the time of this alert.
New Days Low The New Days Low alert seeks out stocks the instant they trade at a new low for the day. Other requirements for the alert include that its previous low of the day must be at least 10 minutes old and the range of the stock (high minus low) for the day must be a minimum of 25 cents. Description
Gap & Reverse Buy This alert identifies stocks that have traded sharply lower in recent days, gapped lower at the current days open and begun a reversal by breaking above its prior day close.  The Gap and Reverse Buy strategy would suggest purchasing the stock at current levels while setting a protective stop below the current day low.
Gap & Reverse Sell This alert identifies stocks that have traded sharply higher in recent days, gapped higher at the current days open and begun a reversal by breaking below its prior day close.  The Gap and Reverse Sell strategy would suggest short selling the stock at current levels while setting a protective stop above the current day high.
Extension Reversal Buy This alert identifies stocks that have traded lower for the past several days with expanded volatility and now shows signs that this selling may have been overdone.  After several down days, a stock that opens higher than the prior days close and breaks above its high set during the initial 5 minutes of trading will trigger an Extension Reversal Buy Alert.   The Extension Reversal Buy strategy would suggest purchasing the stock at current levels while setting a protective stop below the current days low.
Extension Reversal Sell This alert identifies stocks that have traded higher for the past several days with expanded volatility and now shows signs that this buying may have been overdone.  After several up days, a stock that opens lower than the prior days close and breaks below its low set during the initial 5 minutes of trading will trigger an Extension Reversal Sell Alert.   The Extension Reversal Sell strategy would suggest short selling the stock at current levels while setting a protective stop above the current days highs.
Up-Gappers Breaking Morning High This alert identifies stocks that have gapped up at the open and maintained strength by breaking its morning high.  The Up-Gappers Breaking Morning High strategy would suggest purchasing the stock at current levels in anticipation of further gains in this strong stock.  A protective stop would typically be placed below the current days low.
Down-Gappers Breaking Morning Low This alert identifies stocks that have gapped down at the open and maintained weakness by breaking its morning low.  The Down-Gappers Breaking Morning Low strategy would suggest selling the stock at current levels in anticipation of further losses in this weak stock.  A protective stop would typically be placed above the current days high.
Double Bottom Reversal Buy This alert identifies stocks that, after a sharp decline on a very wide trading range, have recently consolidated at these lower levels and appear to have found solid support.  After finding this double bottom support, a stock that begins to rally by breaking above the prior days high will trigger a Double B Buy Alert.  The Double B Buy strategy would suggest purchasing the stock at these levels while setting a protective stop below the lows of the past several days.  
Double Top Reversal Sell This alert identifies stocks that, after a sharp rally on a very wide trading range recently, have recently consolidated at these higher levels and appear to have found solid overhead resistance.  After finding this double top resistance, a stock that begins to weaken by falling below the prior days low will trigger a Double T Sell Alert.  The Double T Sell strategy would suggest selling the stock at these levels while setting a protective stop above the highs of the past several days.  
2T (Double Top) Continuation Buy This alert identifies stocks that, after a sharp rally on a very wide trading range, have recently consolidated at these higher levels and appear to have found solid overhead resistance.  After finding this double top resistance, a stock that regains strength by breaking above this resistance will trigger a 2T Continuation Buy Alert.  The 2T Continuation Buy strategy would suggest purchasing the stock at these levels while setting a protective stop below the prior days low.
2B (Double Bottom) Continuation Sell This alert identifies stocks that, after a sharp decline on a very wide trading range, have recently consolidated at these lower levels and appear to have found solid foundational support.  After finding this double bottom support, a stock that begins to falter again by breaking below this previously set support will trigger a 2T Continuation Sell Alert.  The 2T Continuation Sell strategy would suggest selling the stock at these levels while setting a protective stop above the prior days high.
15-minute 2T Continuation Buy This alert identifies stocks that, after just completing a very sharp intra-day rally on a very wide 15-minute bar, have hesitated at these higher levels and appeared to have found resistance at these highs.  Currently, however, this stock is beginning to rally again and has just broken above its recent resistance, triggering a 15-minute 2T Continuation Buy Alert.
The 15-minute 2T Continuation Buy strategy would suggest purchasing this stock at these levels as a day trade, while setting a protective stop below the prior 15-minute low.
15-minute 2B Continuation Sell This alert identifies stocks that, after a sharp intra-day decline on a recent 15-minute bar, have hesitated at these lower levels and appeared to have found support.  Currently, however, these stocks begin faltering and break below its recent support, triggering a 15-minute 2B Continuation Sell Alert.
The 15-minute 2B Continuation Sell strategy would suggest shorting the stock at these levels while setting a protective stop above the high of the prior 15-minute bar.
