NASDAQ Gainers on
Increased Volume

This alert notifies the user whenever a stock breaks above its 200-day simple moving average for the first time in the past 20+ trading days. This is often interpreted as a bullish sign that the long-term trend in the stock has reversed and is now heading higher.

Increased Volume

With this alert, the trader will be notified whenever a stock breaks below its 200-day simple moving average for the first time in the past 20+ trading days. This usually indicates a bearish sign that the long-term trend in the stock may have reversed and is now heading lower.

Whenever the NYSE TICK indicator rises above +800, an alert will be generated.

Bullish Engulfing

Bullish Engulfing patterns occur when a stock closes lower than is opening price during the period. The following period has a pattern of a higher high and lower low during the period, but closes above the prior periods high. When these two consecutive period patterns are met, the stock lands on the Bullish Engulfing scan list and is a potential buy candidate

Hammer

The hammer is a bullish reversal pattern that forms after a decline. In addition to a potential trend reversal, hammers can mark bottoms or support levels. After a decline, hammers signal a bullish revival. The chart pattern implies that sellers drove prices lower during the session. However, it also suggests a strong finish that indicates that buyers regained their footing to end the session on a strong note. While this may seem enough to act on, hammers require further bullish confirmation. The pattern on the hammer shows that plenty of sellers remain. A strong move to the upside after the hammer chart pattern is required for a stock to make this scan list

Bearish Daily Doji

This scan identifies stocks that have experienced a recent uptrend on the daily chart and, on the prior trading day, opened and closed at the same price. Additionally, the stock is experiencing current weakness and is moving lower following the Doji, or same open and close price. This would indicate a reversal and potential pressure to the down side

Bearish Engulfing

Bearish Engulfing patterns occur when a stock closes higher than its opening price during the period. The following period has a pattern of a higher high and lower low during the period, but closes below the prior periods low. When these to consecutive period patterns are met, the stock lands on the Bearish Engulfing scan list and is a potential sell candidate

Dark Cloud Cover

Dark Cloud Cover is a Candlestick pattern that indicates a potential downtrend. This pattern occurs over two periods. In the first period a stock closes above its open for the period. During the following period, the stock opens above the prior periods close and closes both below the current periods open and below the mid point of the prior periods range. This indicates a potential short selling opportunity

Hanging Man

The hanging man is a bearish reversal pattern that can also mark a top or resistance level. Forming after an advance, a hanging man signals that selling pressure is starting to increase. The Hanging Man chart pattern confirms that sellers pushed prices lower during the session. Even though the bulls regained their footing and drove prices higher by the finish, the appearance of selling pressure raises the yellow flag. As with the hammer, a hanging man requires bearish confirmation before action. A sharp sell off after this pattern will trigger a stock to make this scan list
