Scan Profile

In the example at left CTXS was originally found through a scan. Scan refers to the automatic and comprehensive search of all stocks in the NASDAQ, AMEX and NYSE exchanges.

Scan is a function found in MatrixMiner. "Top Nasdaq Volume Stocks. Many other stocks are found in this scan as seen in Symbols Panel.

ADCT also appears in two other scans and AMAT appears in four other scans as seen in the Scan Name Panel

The stock with the most compelling activity however is CTXS as it is registered in 13 other scans as shown in the Scan Name Panel

Clicking on CTXS reveals the 13 other Scans in which the stock is currently participating. In MatrixMiner this is referred to as a stocks "Scan Profile."

Alerts View Panel displays a tree view of the categories of available alerts. The "All Alerts" is selected by default and streams every type of alert in every category as displayed in the

Alert Description Panel. A user can enable or disable any of the four categories of alerts by simply clicking on the check box next to the category they want to remain active.

Stream alerts by time The most recent alert always appears at the top and the proceeds to scroll down as newer alerts populate the top row

Alert - describes the Alert type
Symbol - displays the stock symbol
Auto load alerted stock in all related linked windows
Price - displays the current price of the stock as indicated by the alert
Time - displays the time at which the alert was activated
